The Curry family has been farming in Northwest Ohio for generations, and following in those footsteps was the only path I ever wanted. In 2005, I became a Custom Sprayer Operator for a local co-op.
After just a few weeks of running a John Deere sprayer, I realized that fence-row tips, foam markers, and boom ends were constantly being damaged. Repairs were costing thousands of dollars, but more importantly, they were costing valuable downtime in the field.
We knew there had to be a more efficient way to stay running. That’s when Joe Collie and I began inventing the Boom Saver. We developed multiple prototypes—testing everything from plastic and fiberglass to aluminum—until we perfected the heavy-duty metal guard that defines our business today.
Farmers and custom applicators already spend enough time away from their families, you shouldn't have to spend extra hours dealing with equipment downtime.
Our goal is simple: Save you parts, time, and money. Boom Saver guards don’t just protect your sprayer; they keep you moving. By shielding your tips, foam hoses, and boom sections, we prevent the 'worst-case scenario' repairs that can cost thousands. We are the only product of our kind on the market, and we are constantly innovating to meet the needs of our customers and protect their expensive investments.
